The record of length in 2020 is a 37.7m crane jib shipped from Shanghai to Kingston, only second to the 44m similar unit we carried from China to Spain in November 2019. Ordered from a factory located in Nantong, the unit was to replace the crane jib on a container vessel. With CEVA Logistics’ support for the pre-carriage, the jib was successfully loaded from barge to the mother vessel at Shanghai terminal under the supervision of the local CMA CGM Project Division specialist.
